How do i setup my main page, homepage, home page, web page, website, web site, site page or whatever you want to call it?

The most basic web page consists of a single file with html code in it. This web file can be created with a text editor such as Edit Plus or graphical based html editor such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver. All of these are available in our download section. Once you have a web page you like you are ready to upload the file to your account. Please visit our other tutorial on how to FTP files. Below are instructions on how to create the most basic website (aka "hello world").

To create a Hello World website follow the steps below:

Open a text editor such as Edit Plus or Windows note pad
Copy: <html>Hello World!!!!!</html>
Paste the code from #2 into the text file
Save the text file as "index.html" or "index.htm"
Upload / FTP the file to your public_html folder
Visit yourwebsite.com and see "Hello World!!!!!" in the browser
